In 1950 Mr. Albert Forgues acquired the farm and agricultural land from 1366 of the 8th concession. Albert had worked there for several years before his marriage. On the farm of Albert and Thérèse found several animals although the main activity was milk production. In 1993, Réjean and Nicole Forgues acquired the farm and transformed it to breed Hereford to develop a high-quality artisanal butchery animal.
In 2015, Danik Forgues and April Faucher acquired the family farm. Together they decided to stay in the same spirit as their predecessors; offer high-quality artisanal and local products. They specialized in the artisanal breeding of animals for butchery, egg production, and garden food by establishing a farm-to-your plate type distribution system.
